A thoughtfully designed residence that blends warm materials, functional planning, and calm aesthetics to support comfortable, everyday family living. Joshi's Residence RESIDENTIAL | FARIDABAD Scope : Interiors (Consultancy) Area : 2400 sqft Status : Completed in 2022 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Shoaib Kamli, Utsav Agrawal Fitout : Antrix Construction Budget : Premium The site is a three-side open apartment located within a multi-building residential society in Faridabad, positioned on the 7th floor to take full advantage of its unobstructed surroundings. With sweeping views of the Aravalli green belt on one side and Surajkund on the other, the apartment benefits from abundant daylight and strong visual connections to the landscape. These views became a key design driver, informing both the planning strategy and the orientation of the principal living spaces. The client, a civil engineer and founder of a construction firm, brought a clear vision and a strong understanding of construction quality to the project. Having collaborated with several established design practices over the years, he aspired for a home rooted in a timeless Western aesthetic, one that balances elegance, comfort, and functionality. The brief called for interiors that felt refined yet understated, with an emphasis on proportion, materiality, and long-term livability for a family home. The design language is expressed through clean lines, subtle wall panelling, and a soft, neutral colour palette layered with muted accents. This approach lends the spaces a sense of quiet sophistication while allowing the architecture and natural light to take centre stage. Furniture and soft furnishings were carefully selected to enhance comfort and scale, ensuring the interiors remain warm and inviting rather than overtly formal. Custom-built elements and integrated storage solutions were designed to maintain visual clarity and spatial efficiency throughout the apartment. Material choices—ranging from natural stone surfaces to textured fabrics and matte finishes—reflect a thoughtful balance between durability and tactility. Overall, the residence is a calm, contemporary interpretation of Western residential design, shaped by its scenic context and the client’s discerning eye—resulting in a home that is both elegant and deeply functional. A dual-level commercial project in Madhya Pradesh, that merges workspace efficiency with vibrant, brand-driven retail expression Manav Agency COMMERCIAL | MADHYA PRADESH Scope : Interiors + Facade (Consultancy) Area : 7500 sqft Status : Completed in 2023 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Nitika Bajaj, Utsav Agrawal Budget : Basic In the heart of the city stands a bold, contemporary structure that redefines the conventions of commercial interior design. This project seamlessly merges two distinct industries—pharmaceuticals and confectionery—within a single, vertically stacked footprint. The primary challenge was to meet strict regulatory and operational needs for pharmaceutical facilities with a lively retail experience to appeal to the younger, confectionery-loving crowd. The building’s exterior is a symmetrical vertical elevation with tall, vertical windows with sleek geometric lines, expressing order and rhythm. The lower levels are designated for Manav Agency, the pharmaceutical division while the upper floors welcome customers to Amul Essence Mart, a dynamic retail destination for baking essentials and gourmet goods. The pharmaceutical section on the lower level is a model of utilitarian grace. A space promoting swift operations and strict hygiene is created via the use of tiled floors, open-plan workstations, including frosted glass cabins and acoustic privacy panels, and an intelligent use of modular furniture. Subtle pops of green in blinds and wall art breaks the monotony, adding warmth and balance to the clinical palette. Subtle wooden details and soft LED lighting bring continuity and comfort to the operational space. In contrast, the Amul Essence Mart on the upper floor embraces a lively, brand-forward aesthetic. Bold colour blocking, vibrant accents and clear product zoning appeal to the flourishing community of young bakers, home cooks and cafe owners. This project elevates the status of the two businesses. It redefines the customer and staff experience across both domains, challenging the conventional notion that pharmaceutical spaces must be sterile and the retail must be chaotic. Together, the two levels form a cohesive commercial environment that harmonizes calm efficiency with expressive design—redefining what multi-program architecture can achieve when function and identity coexist with equal importance. An immersive Delhi showroom that transforms window coverings into art through light, texture and movement across three experiential zones MAC Blinds Experience Center RETAIL | DELHI Scope : Interiors (Consultancy) Area : 1000 sqft Status : Completed in 2023 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Bhavika Singla Photographer : Avesh gaur Budget : Luxury The Experience Centre for MAC Blinds is designed to celebrate their finesse and diverse range of window covering solutions. The client envisioned a modern, minimalistic space with a touch of warmth—a setting that transforms everyday products into immersive design experiences. A layered design approach, defined by a fine play of textures and sculptured decor, creates an inviting and elegant ambience. Our objective was to reformulate blinds and window coverings, positioning them not merely as functional essentials but as artistic expressions, which enrich any given space. The stylised environment, showcasing blinds, reflects an effort to integrate blinds as artistic elements. The plan views the walls as curated canvases which present blinds in a palette of colors, patterns and mechanisms. The strategic placement of vertical panels and suspended elements bring rhythm to the space while a restrained furniture layout creates an inviting ambience and allows the visitors’ attention to be centered on the products. The layout divides the space into three distinct zones, namely Excite, Engage and Select, each designed to shape the customer’s journey. The Excite Zone creates a visually engaging experience for the visitors. This zone incorporates strong focal points which draw the users’ interest and curiosity, encouraging them to explore further. This is accomplished through a suspended display of fabric samples near the entry, which transforms the material library into an installation. The Engage Zone is strategically designed to create an interactive space that not only showcases products for hands-on exploration but also provides information through framed information boards. The product displays present the entire range of available blinds, allowing customers to browse and compare options. The Select Zone includes seating and consultation areas to foster discussions between the customers and the sales consultants about material and design choices. This kind of setting enables informed decision-making, combining functional display with a structured shopping experience. A Madhya Pradesh residence defined by handcrafted teak-rattan furniture, brass detailing and material warmth rooted in timeless craftsmanship Senani's Residence RESIDENTIAL | MADHYA PRADESH Scope : Furniture Area : 500 sqft Status : Completed in 2024 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Utsav Agrawal Fitout : Studio Blukey Budget : Premium Despite its modest size, this project allowed us an opportunity to explore the tactile beauty and expressive potential of solid teak wood. The pair of bespoke furniture pieces, created for the client's family living space, honours material craftsmanship, balance and timeless design. Each plank of teak was carefully selected after evaluating color tone and grain pattern. Multiple polish samples were tested before finalising the finish that best revealed the wood’s natural depth and striking texture. The medium-dark toned teak is contrasted with the woven rattan which establishes lightness, complements the rich tones and creates a harmonious balance between weight and airiness. Antique brass knobs subtly accentuate the handcrafted quality of the linear tessellation. The piece, set against a backdrop of soft, diffused light filtering through a glass partition, elevates from a mere furniture item to a sculptural statement, seamlessly blending into its architectural setting while standing out for its beauty and intricacy. A compact Madhya Pradesh workspace blending polished wood, raw cement panels and vibrant accents to create balance, warmth and clarity Studio BluKey Office COMMERCIAL | MADHYA PRADESH Scope : Interiors (Consultancy) Area : 500 sqft Status : Completed in 2023 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Utsav Agrawal Fitout : Studio Blukey Budget : Basic The soul of any brand - who they are, what they represent and how they operate - is reflected through its workspace. At Arth Design, while designing workspaces, we aim to focus on celebrating the brand identity through space; we go beyond formulaic office templates to create environments that reflect purpose and individuality. The office for Studio BluKey, an interior fit-out firm, is designed to highlight materiality and texture, while blending professional minimalism and an inviting sense of warmth. The significant use of meticulously polished teak and oak wood reveals the richness of their natural grains. The crafted woodwork becomes a storytelling surface that demonstrates precision, tactility and craftsmanship. On the other hand, raw cement panels introduce an industrial honesty, creating a perfect fusion of the refined and the unfinished, the process and the outcome. A partition of perforated cement blocks in place of solid walls maintains privacy while adding visual depth and play of light. Each block is polished on one side and raw on the other to demonstrate how the same material, when processed in different techniques, can create contrasting emotions within the same space. Complementing the overall neutral, textural palette are these splashes of colour coming in through vibrant soft furnishings, lush greens and bold planters. These elements bring the workspace to life, giving rhythm and energy to a calm, timeless restraint. A modern retail store that enhances product visibility through clean design, smart lighting and a layout crafted for intuitive customer experience Ajay Electronics RETAIL | MADHYA PRADESH Scope : Interiors (Consultancy) Area : 5500 sqft Status : Completed in 2022 Design Team : Ayush Jagnani, Utsav Agrawal Fitout : Studio Blukey Budget : Basic The retail store of Ajay Electronics is crafted as a series of immersive vignettes, carefully designed to highlight a particular product category through thoughtful Visual Merchandising (VM). This approach transforms the store into an engaging retail environment where every display tells a story. Through this spatial planning, the products are accentuated. The appliances are strategically oriented, with the larger ones along the periphery and the smaller ones occupying the central island, ensuring deeper visual lines and smooth and intuitive flow. The design statement through the expansive ceiling installation serves as a focal and anchor point for the overall space, grabbing the customers’ attention upon entry. Placed at the heart of the store, directly below the installation to capture the eye, is a circular display podium, which showcases the season’s featured product—bold, spotlighted and impossible to ignore. A cohesive design language emerges through the combination of metal panels and warm wood finishes, creating a modern industrial aesthetic that feels both dynamic and welcoming. This cohesive language enhances brand perception and adds a tactile richness to the overall experience. Ajay Electronics’ store is more than a mere showroom; it’s an immersive retail experience—it encourages the customers to engage, explore and remember.
